Collectors for hardware: servers by Redfish, IBM Power by its HMC, UPS and PDU over SNMP, NVIDIA GPUs over SSH.
Collectors for the hardware itself. Servers, by the Redfish service of their management card (iDRAC, iLO, Supermicro, XCC, any Redfish BMC): health and power state, power supplies and power drawn, temperatures and fans, storage, memory, processors, critical log entries. IBM Power servers, by their HMC: the state and attention LED of each system, the state of each partition and VIOS, the processor units and memory left to assign, and the open serviceable events. UPS over SNMP: the UPS-MIB of any brand (on battery, runtime, charge, load, battery, self-test, alarms), and what APC and Eaton add (a battery to replace, a failed test). APC rack PDUs over SNMP: load, current, voltage and power per phase and per metered outlet. NVIDIA GPUs over SSH, by nvidia-smi: utilization, memory, temperature, power, slowdown, ECC errors. A collector written for one version or generation of a product lives in a folder that names it.
